Today’s Entrepreneur
Sep 4th, 2008 by admin
Last night I stumbled across one of the very first books I ever bought on entrepreneurship. As I thumbed through its pages, it occurred to me that not much has changed in 20 years. Entrepreneurs are still about innovation, forward thinking and seizing opportunities. We still take risks, work 30 hours each day and know that there is never a ‘perfect’ time to start a business - you do it or you don’t. We - the entrepreneurs - operate in a world that is all about people and networking; a world where a MBA is just an acronym - not the key to success. For we know that the most successful entrepreneurs are those who are most driven and relentless; people who understand that behind every ‘no’ is a maybe.
So if you are considering starting a business, remember the golden rules: 1) never give up, 2) be persistent and 3) try, try again. You are TODAY’S entrepreneur!
