For many of us, summer is right around the corner. It’s a great time of year… birds chirping, grass growing and a ton of money to be made. But summer doesn’t have to mean seasonal business, because when it’s winter in your neck of the woods, it is summer somewhere else. So here are a few hot summer business ideas with universal appeal (meaning you could sell them online year-round):
- A unique swimwear line - consider something different - like suits with personalization.
- An all-natural or organic insect repellent or sunblock - or cooling body spray mists.
- Come up with a new pool or beach game - think water horseshoes or aquatic stack’em (who can build the tallest floating tower?).
- Invent an environmentally friendly shoe insert that keeps your feet cool (and dry) all day while stuck in the office.
That is a very interesting point about being able to sell some items online year round that would not sell in one area. Most people might not even consider that there are more temperate zones that are warm year round.
