Free Business Plan Templates

Bah, humbug! That’s right. In the spirit of the season, down with free business plan templates! Listen, no two business plans are alike. So you can’t fill in the blanks or simply cut and paste from an existing plan. If you even think you can pull this off, be ready to fail…miserably.
While I don’t recommend using free BP templates, I do recommend using sample business plans as a guide. Use them to familiarize yourself with the proper format and necessary contents. Here are some well-written samples that you can use as a reference point:
Sample business plans are also readily available through the Small Business Administration or SBA at www.sba.gov.
